How to Weather the Storms

Hey there, family!
Feeling a little weighed down lately? You're not alone. Sometimes life throws us curveballs – maybe it's school, a demanding project at work, financial stress,  a challenging relationship, ups and downs of entrepreneurship, or just the feeling of being stuck. I typed out this entire email and it didn't save. So here I am resending it. This is an example of the small tests we encounter daily that add up. Thankfully, tough times don’t last always. Just like a storm eventually clears, brighter days are ahead.
You've survived 100% of your worst days. Don't underestimate how strong you are.
Here are 5 tips to remind you of your tools to weather storms:

1. Patience, Patience, Patience.

Trust me, I get that this is easier said than done. When faced with challenges, we often want instant results. But remember, growth takes time. Patience allows you to focus on progress, not perfection. Trust that things will improve, one step at a time.

2. Prioritize Self-Care.

You can't pour from an empty cup. Make sure you're taking care of yourself physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. Get enough sleep, eat nourishing food, and schedule activities that bring you joy. Whether it's reading a book, taking a walk in nature, or spending time with loved ones, prioritize what helps you recharge.

3. Give Yourself Grace, love.

I know you wouldn't judge a friend as harshly, so extend the same kindness to yourself. Acknowledge your struggles, but don't dwell on them. You've never experienced this day before, no one expects you to have it all figured out.

4. Find Gratitude

It's easy to focus on what's lacking, but taking time to appreciate the good, big or small, shifts your perspective. Start a gratitude journal, or simply take a moment each day to reflect on what you're thankful for.

Remember, you have the strength to weather any storm. With a little effort and a focus on your inner light, you can find hope and navigate towards brighter days.
